How Sarai works

  1. We buy and test

    We buy used and returned phones and laptops in the United States and test every one: battery, screen, locks and IMEI.

  2. We show everything

    Every listing has its grade, battery health and a photo of each defect. Nothing is hidden.

  3. You bid from your phone

    Bidding is free. You place a small deposit for each auction. If you don’t win, you get all of it back.

  4. You check, then pay

    Win, then pay the rest with HesabPay or in cash at our Kabul counter, where you see the device first. If it doesn’t match the listing, you can return it within 3 days.

Fair by design

Our auction rules follow the principles of fair trade in Islamic law. A scholar will review them before we open.

  • Bidding is always free

    No fee to bid, ever.

  • Your deposit comes back

    If you don’t win, the whole deposit is returned. If you win, it counts toward the price.

  • No fake bids

    Sarai staff and their close relatives, and our suppliers, can’t bid. Every bid is recorded.

  • Every defect shown

    Grades A to D, with photos. Return within 3 days if it doesn’t match the listing.
